Todowing

Todowing is an unofficial Chrome extension for Todoist. Todoist's Today, Upcoming, Filter, and Label views list sub-tasks flat, so it's hard to see which task belongs to which parent. Todowing shows the sub-task tree nested inline, up to four levels deep, in Today, Upcoming, Boards, Filters, and Labels. Each sub-task row shows its due date, priority, and labels, and you can complete or reopen sub-tasks right from the list. It also adds seven color palettes that adjust row spacing, section style, and corner rounding, plus a text size slider from 85% to 200%.

The free version needs no account and shows up to 5 sub-task rows per top-level task. A one-time lifetime unlock (19.99, no subscription, future upgrades included, 14-day refund) removes the row limit and adds: adding, renaming, and reordering sub-tasks from the row; hiding done sub-tasks; focus sessions with a countdown timer that runs across tabs; time estimates per task with totals in Todoist's header; a notes pad above Today; a font picker with about 50 Google Fonts; and read-only Apple Calendar events on Today.

Privacy: your Todoist API token stays in your browser and is only sent to the official Todoist API. Your tasks never touch Todowing's servers, and there is no analytics or tracking.
